For those who have wondered about what happened to
ARIUS BLAZE, creator of some of the most "Huh?" devices, the answer lies in the
auction posted on ebay , which circulated through the Benders List. Apparently this guy is closing shop and selling off his stuff, however ARIUS did not bother telling Chris a naive German musician who paid a hefty price for an instrument that was delayed for a year and never shipped. ( Chris was contacted but did not reply to my request for a story) Personally I can't possibly see why anyone would ever purchase something like this for the amount of money. I mean really! What is so special about it? I call it IT cause noone has any idea of that it does. I got a couple of guesses and all of them involve 555 timer ICs. No sound samples, no nothing in the auction. The instruments do look cool and vintage in "Dark City" sort of way. I guess maybe I don't appreciate art or I'm just really jealous.

I have been inspired by this man's work. It's not easy doing what we do. Making things, inventing. Long hours alone in a basement, etc. Whatever he got (paid) for his art was probably less than what it was worth. Each piece is a piece of your life. It's discouraging when you're expected to produce like a poor factory worker somewhere in Asia.
"We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of the dream!"
We should be paid what our lives are worth, with every piece created.
Arius, I hope you continue to create your machines. We need you to.
