wood adhesive covering. Available from any Wall-Mart around the world comes this affordable ( $5 ) solution that will spruce up any gadget. Take this Dull box pictured before the wood application. A few minutes and a small mess later, tada! It looks awesome! The possibilities are limitless, however everyone will agree that wood trim like this makes anything Classy. Not to mention that it works perfectly to cover up those pre-drilled, but never used switch and jack holes. Oops, that will be out little secret ;-)

You can use REAL wood cabinet refacing veneer that can be bought online or at home improvement stores. It is not hard to work with, can be painted or stained, and is easy to cut with scissors or an Xacto knife.

the great thing about veneers is that they come in a mind-boggling array of exotic flavors, and as the previous replier said, they are relatively easy to work with. much can be done by simply cutting up a sheet of veneer and rearranging the pieces.
