Ancient Chinese Secret

Well ok, this is pretty new, and I am not Chinese, and sure as hell not a secret any more. I still want to let everyone know that if you are looking for getting stuff in bulk like switches, jacks or knobs one seller in particular has some very nice auctions. HongKongSuperSeller offers a great number of musically related parts and lots. Granted the shipping may seem a little steep because everything is coming strait from China, but it is a bargain never-to-less. Pictured above is my lot of 100 switches, which I received in the mail today. It was sent out on October 16th after I paid $35 for the auction. It may be more than I will ever need, but its good start towards my goal of building a 1000 switch box to beat the 400 switch Super Collider one.

yep, i bought 25 switches for something stupid like $5 from this guy. good deal. i might buy more, they seem like standard lower-quality chinese parts.

in general, ebay is a wonderful source of good parts. i recently picked up a box of super high quality NO pushbuttons for about $1 a piece. they're in mouser for about $6.

I just got 100 toggles off this guy for $36 (I splurged the extra dollar for insurance) Thanks for the tip, waiting for mixed lots of switches on Ebay has been annoying the hell out of me.

Ebay has been the scourge of my paycheck lately.

Heh, eBay + ciruit bending can be an expensive Hobby. I will have to warn you that it did take me about 2.5 weeks to get my item lot, so be prepaired to wait. Not a sellers fault though, the item was post marked rightaway, must be just some customs thing.

I thought the ancient Chinese secret was 'Pearl Creme'.

I had stumbled on that seller a few eeeks back but didn't place an order yet. Nice to know that hes is reputable. Other thing I noticed is that he has quite a collection of analog delay BBD chips and drivers. Hmm, might have to place an order soon.

I knew about this seller for a while, just figured it would be better to keep the lid shut until I get my stuff. I don't think this seller is gonna run out of anything, they seem to have huge amounts of everything they sell. The prices sometimes vary, I don't know why. Btw, I ordered some of those chips, and I'll let everyone know how they work out.

Thank you so much for that link! I was about to make an order with All Electronics AND Electronic Goldmine. Gotta get back into this circuit bending thing...to pay for my many other addictions.
