6 Year old Circuit Bender found!

That's right, a 6 year old has been frequenting the Livejournal Bending group and it is true that his bending skills are leveling at the rate of every 24 hours. Actually I'm glad that kids are into circuit bending instead of TV, video games, and or talking on the cell phone. When I was that age I didn't really bend much, but I enjoyed taking things apart, sometimes with devastating results. All I can say is that Niko is one lucky kid to have hip grown-ups around him. Also thank god he is not Chinese, otherwise we would have a super-bender our hands and we'd all be doomed.

When I was doing stuff like that when I was that kids age, the only sounds I got out of anything was a slap and a high pitched wailing. That all came from me getting spanked by my parents and crying, for breaking my toy.

I remember bending transistor AM radios and other stuff when I was six, back in 1979/1980. I've been bending stuff for the past year but I'd forgotten about that earlier period.

I remember in first grade I created an invention for school. It was a bank that had many slopes that the change would roll on. There were pieces of aluminum foil connected to LEDs and the power source so when the quarter or nickle etc. rolled on the foil, it would light up the LED. It was very amusing at my age and I would always take the money out of the compartment that the change fell into and place it back on the top and watch the LEDs shine. Even before first grade I always knew what capasitors and resistors etc. did in a circuit. Maybe I was born to invent... ;)
