Today's WØrd: Google Video

Thats right, Google Video. Last week I kept pretty quiet, one of the reasons for that was the constant distraction of the Google Video. There is a lot of funny and entertaining stuff on there. However the bright idea of posting some circuit bent instrument videos did not come to me until just a few days ago. One thing to point out is that GetLoFi.com was the first put those on Google Video. So don't go running and hugging all the credit. The credit has been officially hugged by me. Anyways one problem however, I had 2 videos uploaded and they did show up in the search prior, but as of today only one does. I dunno, maybe google server that hosted the second one is down. Finally, this should also solve the compatibility issues with QuickTime files being played from my site. So go ahead, enjoy the nasty sounds of the Hell-Tar.

I really don't know why, but google keeps taking off my second keyboard video from the search. Possible thinking that its search manipulation? I dunno, at any rate, I keep changing the title so it gets resubmitted to the search. Hope it stays this time.

Well Duh!!!! Credit is due where it belongs.

I've been writing for a while, in High School and throughout College. Both places discouraged plagiarism and encouraged citing and crediting of sources for specific ideas. I really believe that if someone was to think and do something first with enough evidence that they were the first person to do so, they should be given the credit. Am I right? I will never be credited with inventing circuit bending, because R.Q Ghazala has claimed that, however I can certainly say that I was the first person to put up a video of circuit bent stuff in “Google Video”.
The internet is not a free for all it used to be prior to 2000. It’s a powerful publishing medium that is regarded very highly by some people, including me.
There is a little bit of “Dry Humor” about hugging the credit, but I can’t help that.
