What dreams are made of

Well here you have it, 2 perfectly good SK systems for only 0.99 cents! ( with 7 days to go). Would someone please bid on them for the love of god!!! The only down side is that the battery cover is missing and some keys are loose, but who cares. There are too many of those anyway.

I love my bent sk1. But man... its up to almost 80$ for the pair. Is the sk1 / sk5 realy that much more interesting a bend then other similar keyboards? Or is it just one of those things we all need to bend at least once?

On a diffrent note, anyone ever bend any of the CZ*** phase distortion synths? I have a cz1000, which I love and wont risk destroying, but I was thinking of trying to pick up another to maim. Looking inside it makes me want to start soldering.

And does anyone have any magical hints on finding bends on newer cheesy synths with the mysterous black blob brains? I've seen some ebay sales of keyboards I know (cause I went out and grabbed one) are almost empty inside except for that blob. And for the record trying to melt the blob to see what is inside just smells realy bad.

Those little black blob machines often have a resistor that controls the pitch. Just lick your fingers and prod around the resistors until you find it. This can produce various pitchy/glitchy effects when messed with, but apart from that, there's usually not much you can do.

Hmmm, I'd be careful with the CZ synths. I've seen some cool bent ones online, so I tried my cz1000, which i picked up for cheap so I didnt mind much if I messed it up. Which is good, because I did. The third bend I tried sent up some sparks, then the keyboard crashed. It's now stuck with that bend on, and the other two I found no longer have any effect, and I cant find any more with any effect.

You should figure out a way (pic / good text directions) to tell me which bend killed the synth :)) So far I havn't realy broken anything. One old sears talking thing I stopped messing with because I had a very strong sense of death. And the little black blob toy where I experimented with drilling new holes in traces and soldering to that... yeah, I did break that one hehe.
